Mothers Day !! 😘💙

Mothers hold their child's hands for a little while, but their hearts forever. Kids are very special and thankful to have their mums in their life, some don’t.

My mum is the most important person in my life and my dad. My mum was the one who went through everything to give me life. She was there for me since day one and is still until this very day. My mum’s arms were always open when I needed her, she was always my friend who understands me, her strength and love helped and guided me.

She taught me what is right from wrong and also about the dangerous things in life. She’ll always have my back no matter what goes on, she’ll always take my side even if I'm wrong to show me comfort and forgiveness.

She’s the best in helping us to achieve in terms of my academics, she’ll never fail on that as she’s supportive and loving. She loves us fairly, she doesn’t pick a favourite amongst my siblings and I. My mother is always fair with the way she treats us. Although I have relatives that love me also but the love my mother has for me is unconditional and I feel special about that.

I can never repay my mother as she would pick the sun and stars for me if she could, just to make I and my siblings feel special. My siblings and I are very blessed to have a mother who is beautiful inside and out, very supportive but most importantly the most loving and caring mother I could have ever asked for.

I love my mum endlessly. NO-ONE will ever replace you being my mother.

Environment Acrosstic Poem

E -Earth, the place we live in.

N - Nature, the stuff that a surrounding us.

V - Voices, everyone uses it everywhere.

I - Ice, Winter is one of the seasons on this Earth for everybody.

R - Running, everyone keeps fit by running on this Earth/Land.

O - Ocean, everywhere around this World

N - Neighbourhood, people who are around us where we’re living.

I used 3 things to describe what I like in my life. Firstly I picked a Tongan Flag to describe who I am. Secondly, I drew a cross because it represents God. Lastly, I pick a Netball ball because it's my favourite sport of all.

The missing bag - Writing

A blanket of fog covered the land below with only patches of green grass and some large buildings visible. Putting my luggage on the top shelf and went to sit down in my seat.

After eating my meal I went to the bathroom. While I was in the bathroom I remembered about my Handbag. I finished from being in the bathroom and then I went to check if my handbag was still there. I opened the top shelf seeing my handbag not being there. I ask the passengers that were in my row if they have seen my handbag. All there answers to my questions were “no”. So I sat there for about 5 minutes waiting.

Then I decided to go ask the flight attendant if she could help me. “Yes, but have you looked properly on the top shelf?” The flight attendant said. “Yes, I have” I replied. Then she told me let’s go look properly. We got to my seat then we started looking.

At the top shelf we both saw a big bag. She moved the big bag… and “THERE!!” I screamed with excitement. “THANK YOU SO MUCH!!” I said to the flight Attendant, “No Worries” she replied. After all the stress I went back to my seat and sat down listening to music.

Fathers Day Card

Writing - I found a strange package by the door...

I found a strange package by the door. I was confused because I didn’t order anything. So I got it and check the address because it might be for someone else and they delivered it to the wrong address.

I check it and it said California, America. “This is my address” I said. So I decided to open it. I opened it it was 2 clothes wrapped up together. “Hmmmm” I wondered “I think somebody sent it to me”.  Then I decided to try it on. I tried it on it a perfect fit. I smiled and looked at the mirror. “I wonder who would of sent it to me” I said lovingly to my self.

I woke up the next morning and saw the other shirt in my closet. I wore it then went for a walk. I asked my friend Rosie if she was the one who sent it to me and I saw her wearing the same top as me. “Yes” she said proudly. “Thank You so much” I said hugging her “No Problem.

I just wanted to send it to you so you can have the same clothes as me “You're the best” I replied. And she smiled and said bye. So I came back home being happy.

Writing - If my dog could talk

If pets could speak that would be amazing. I'd like to have a talking pet, that would be very interesting.

One day I came outside seeing my dog talking to my neighbour. “How could you be talking to a dog?” I asked “Um… yeah I came outside and your dog just talked” she was trying to finish off her sentence. “Yeah of course I can” my dog Bark interrupted. “Oh Okay” In just said softly. So I looked at my dog and he smiled back at me.

At the I and my dog both said bye to her and left.

Being Smart Online

Today Constable Gordon came here to St Pius X school to talk about Cyber Smart. He was talking about the principles of online communication. I learnt that if you were to post something nasty about people you would never fully delete it. It can be retrieved. It will always be there in the cloud. I also learnt if you use a cell phone the provider can retrieve the text messages I send even though I deleted it.  Online laws is place. If I break the law and I am 14 years old I can go to court for that.

Thank Constable Gordon. I need to be smart online.

Narrative Writing

Learn - I am Learning to write a Narrative writing using a silent trailer.

Branch and I lived in the middle of the wood.  My friends were the plants and the monsters.

“Brother finger Brother finger…” I sang. “SERIOUSLY!?” Branch screamed at me “What??” I asked “Can you go to bed?” “Well, yes but I’m singing to go to bed”. Branched ignored me and turned around going to bed.

When he slept I sang again to annoy him and he was very furious when he got up. When I sang I moved back into the darkness and my friends started joining me by singing. One of my friends which was the spider crawled up on him then he flicked it away.

As soon as I finished Branch asked “May I?” (meaning for my ukulele) then I gave it. Straight away he threw it inside his bonfire he just made. I just stood there being so angry and mad. I just wanted to scream my Lungs out of but I kept it inside.  After he threw my ukulele he went to bed. So I went to bed as well being angry and mad.

Marae Visit

As we arrived at the Marae we had to wait for 1 to 2 minutes while they were preparing. After the preparation one the the ladies came and said they were ready. Then the whole school went.

While we were walking the tangata whenua was calling us to come, from our side Analei did the answering back. Then we finally reached the Marae. At the Marae we had to take of our shoes then walk in. In the Marae we Sang and did prayers. After that we went to have Morning Tea. Next we made puawai (flowers)in the hall. We had to work with our Soul Friends. It was a little hard to do it but I still managed to do it.

After that activity we went to the Marae and did the “Head Shoulder Knees and Toes” song. It was fun because we got to learn knew Maori words.When we finish singing the song the tangata whenua showed us how John key dances. When we finished we had lunch and went to tech while the rest stayed there.

That was an awesome and exhausted day.

Science Raodshow

Room 7 and Room 5 went to Tamaki College to a Science Roadshow. The show was in the Tamaki Auditorium.  Parents helped with the transport. I went with Malia's mum.

The things I saw in the Auditorium was stations with scientific things on it. I firstly went to the Body parts where it’s like a puzzle and you have to fix it. In that station I leant how to place body parts correctly. My best station was the Changing Pendulum because  I got adjust it how fast and slow it can go. It was amazing. I also loved the colour words because it was funny when I said it and I got mistakes.

At the end they presented to us a presentation about Sounds. The first one was fast and pretty loud it gave me and Sammy a fright. The second experience was in a glass Jar with a balloon in it. When it popped we didn’t ever hear a loud sound all we heard was the glass sound. Finally it was time to go back. I went back in the same ride to School.
