Task: Go to the Tourism New Zealand website and click on the ‘Facts - New Zealand People’ tab. Read about the people of New Zealand and then choose three interesting facts to post on your blog. The facts must be written in your own words. Do not simply copy and paste the facts from the website☺.
Work:
Fact 1: New Zealand’s population is approximately 4.4 million.
Fact 2: In New Zealand, Maori people greet people by pressing their foreheads and noses against each other.
Fact 3: New Zealand citizens are known as ‘kiwis’.

ReplyDeleteI hope that you enjoyed reading through the Tourism NZ website and learning more about this great country that we call home. I am constantly amazed by all there is to learn about NZ and all there is to see and do here.
Over the next few days you will have the chance to 'travel' across NZ and learn even more about the history, people, places and things to see and do. I wonder which place you will like the most?
Only time will tell...
